Mock Drill Conducted at BVM USN to Promote Emergency Preparedness
A mock drill was conducted today at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, USN, with an objective of raising awareness among students about emergency preparedness and safety protocols during crisis and war-like situations. The exercise focused on crucial areas such as family safety, stocking essential supplies, administering first aid and fostering a culture of alertness and responsibility within the community.
The drill was conducted by NCC officers, who engaged students through hands-on training and realistic simulations. Students enthusiastically participated in various drills, gaining valuable insights into the importance of preparedness and calm & responsible behavior during emergencies.Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs Seema Gupta emphasized, “In today’s world, preparedness is as vital as prevention. This mock drill was not merely an activity, but a vital life lesson for our students.” She further added that the school remains deeply committed to the holistic development of its students and will continue to organize such initiatives to equip them with essential life skills and values.
