Saluting the Unsung Heroes: BVM USN Celebrates the Dignity of Labour with Pride
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana marked International Labour Day with great enthusiasm, honouring the invaluable contributions of workers in shaping society.The celebration began with an insightful student talk by Shubhashree of Class IX, who eloquently highlighted the importance of labour and the dignity of work. Adding depth to the occasion, Class V students presented a compelling role play, sensitively portraying the lives and struggles of workers. A Poster Making Activity on the theme ‘Dignity of Labour’ engaged Class IX students, who expressed their perspectives through vibrant and thought-provoking artwork.
The event was further enriched by a melodious group song, along with a heartfelt dance performance by students dedicated to the school’s subordinate staff, spreading a message of unity, gratitude and appreciation. Students also enthusiastically participated in various athletic activities, infusing the celebration with energy and team spirit. Meanwhile, Class VI students created heartfelt gratitude cards for the school’s supporting staff, acknowledging their unwavering dedication.
In his address, Principal Mr. Pawan Sood emphasized the importance of respecting every profession. His inspiring words encouraged students to value hard work, uphold the dignity of labour and cultivate gratitude for those who contribute selflessly to society.
