BVM USN remembers the Missile Man- Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam with reverence
BVM USN commemorated the Death Anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam today, with great reverence and enthusiasm to remember the visionary scientist and former President of India.
The commemoration began with a Floral Tribute in the school assembly as a mark of respect to the "Missile Man of India".
Aastha (Xl) highlighted Dr. Kalam’s life, his dedication to science & education and his message to youth to "Dream, Dream, Dream", through her inspiring speech.Students of Class VIII participated in a Slogan Writing Activity, penning powerful slogans based on Dr. Kalam’s thoughts and ideals.
A Rocket Model Making Activity was also conducted under the guidance of Mr. Narender Singh Rawat and Mr. Rakesh. Students showcased innovation and scientific temperament by creating models inspired by Dr. Kalam’s contribution to India’s space and defence programmes.
The event concluded with an insightful message by Principal, Mr. Pawan Sood. He urged students to imbibe Dr. Kalam’s values of discipline, hard work, patriotism and the spirit of innovation to become responsible citizens and nation builders.
The day served as a tribute to Dr. Kalam’s legacy and motivated students to work towards a brighter future for the country.
