Young Kurash Warriors of BVM USN Bring Home 53 Medals,
Qualify for State Championship
BVM USN delivered a spectacular performance at the Open District Sub-Junior Kurash Championship, organised by the Kurash Association of Ludhiana at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana, on 27 July 2026, bringing immense pride to the school by securing an impressive 53 medals.
Around 150 participants from various schools and clubs competed in the championship. BVM USN students, participating in the Under-9 and Under-14 categories for both Boys and Girls, displayed exceptional skill, determination, and unwavering sportsmanship throughout the event.
The school's remarkable medal tally comprised:

Adding to the glory, the Gold and Silver medal winners have qualified to represent Ludhiana District at the State Kurash Championship, scheduled to be held in Patiala from 1 August to 2 August 2026.
Congratulating the winners, Principal Mr. Pawan Sood applauded the young champions for their remarkable achievement and appreciated the dedicated efforts of Mentor Mrs. Deepika, whose guidance played a significant role in the team's success. He also extended his best wishes to the State Championship qualifiers, expressing confidence that they would continue to bring laurels to the school and the district.
